Veterans Woods Closed Until Further Notice

The two access areas for Veterans Woods in Romeoville were closed Friday, February 12, for a police investigation.

The preserve was closed in the afternoon by Forest Preserve District police and will remain closed until further notice. Updates will be posted here as necessary.

The two access areas are Roy F. Hassert Grove and Traders Corner, which are both located on Joliet Road, east of Route 53/Bolingbrook Drive.
