2020 Skokie Business Of The Year Award Nominations Open
Residents can the name of their favorite local business to be recognized as the best in town.
SKOKIE, IL — Nominations are now open for the 2020 edition of the village's annual local business awards. The Skokie Business of the Year awards aim to highlight local businesses that go the extra mile in service of the community.
Residents can fill out a form online to identity the store or business that offers customers the most outstanding product or service.
Winners will be selected by the Consumer Affairs Commission, an appointed advisory body that also organizes the village's farmer's market. Each person may only nominate one business.

Nominations will be accepted until Nov. 1 and the winner will be recognized at a future board meeting.

Last year's winner was Skokie Theatre, which followed Haben Funeral and Ace Hardware. The three businesses who won the award in past three years are not eligible.
The runners up last year were Chicago Jewish Funerals, Crafty Beaver Home Center and Poochie's.
