D219 Board of Education Honors Improved Student Performance
The D219 Board of Education presented the Aspire Award to Jodyann Brown and Nicole Begovich at its October 16 meeting.
Students who have shown the most improved performance were honored with the Aspire Award on October 16 by the Niles Township High School District 219 Board of Education: Niles North student Jodyann Brown and Niles West student Nicole Begovich received the award.
Dean Erica Bougdanos from Niles North presented Jodyann with the award. She commented, “Jodyann Brown is a senior at Niles North who has made tremendous improvements both academically and behaviorally since her freshman year. She is an amazing young woman and I cannot wait to see what her future holds.”
The Niles West Student Services, Counseling, Special Education and Deans Departments recognized Nicole for all the positive changes she has made over the past year and said, “We are all extremely proud of her!”
