D219, Molloy to Provide Free Meals During Winter Break For Kids

Families living in Niles Township may pick up free lunches + breakfasts during winter break for kids and young adults

During winter break, December 21 through January 3, meals will be distributed on Tuesdays with seven days of meals being provided including hot, cold and reheatable meals.

Families living in Niles Township may pick up free lunches and breakfasts during winter break for anyone 18 years of age and younger, seven days a week. Niles Township High School District 219 offers the program in collaboration with Quest Food Management Services, the district’s onsite food service provider. In addition, young adults up to age 22 can pick meals up at Molloy Education Center.


During winter break, which runs from December 21 through January 3, meals will be distributed on Tuesdays with seven days of meals being provided including hot, cold and reheatable meals. (Thursday pick ups will resume on January 7, 2021.)


Pickup times are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 29 at the following three locations:

There is no registration, paperwork or income verification required. Picking up the meals is easy for busy parents/guardians. Children do not have to be present and no ID, income verification or paperwork is required.
