Community leader and activist Rob Paddor has retired and sold his Subaru
dealership to the McGrath Auto Group. Evanston Subaru moved from Chicago
Avenue in Evanston in 2009 and changed its name to Evanston Subaru in Skokie.

Over the years, Paddor was famous for his TV commercials featuring his dog
Sunny and Evanston Subaru's support of numerous community organizations.

But the good news is, new owner Mike McGrath, Vice President of the McGrath
Auto Group has promised to continue Paddor's charitable endeavors. The new dealership will be called McGrath Evanston Subaru.

The new owner officially took over on January 8th. The new McGrath TV
commercials show Paddor handing his store's keys to Mike McGrath and features
Sunny the Subaru House Dog, an English Bull Dog, who McGrath says will remain
the dealership's mascot.

Rob Paddor’s son Evan Paddor, who has been the Sales Manager at the
dealership for 17 years, will stay on at the new McGrath Evanston Subaru.
“The McGrath Group is taking-over a very successful dealership and they
have promised business as usual,” Evan Paddor said.

New owner, Mike McGrath says all the same employees in sales and service
will remain and the loyal customers of Rob Paddor's Subaru store will notice
very few changes, Mike McGrath said.

McGrath added that he realizes that Rob Paddor was very active in local
charities and pledged to maintain the same involvement that also follows the
Subaru Love Promise for community involvement.

In fact, on day one, McGrath implemented a new incentive where his new
Subaru store will donate $50 to charity with every Subaru leased at the
dealership. He calls the program Lease4Love and adds that Subaru of
America really loved the idea which adheres to the Subaru Love Promise and
closely resembles the Subaru Share the Love Event.

The new McGrath Evanston Subaru is open Monday-Friday 9 am-8 pm in sales and 7:30 am -7 pm in Service. Saturday sales is open 9 am-6 pm and 7:30 am -4:30 pm in service.
