Freightliner Truck Reported Stolen in Skokie

Burglary

A computer monitor was reported stolen from a business n the 8000 block of Monticello Avenue on May 12. According to police, brute force was used to gain entry.

Criminal damage

An unknown offender used a large piece of wood to smash three windows of an apartment unit in the 9000 block of Bronx Avenue on May 12.  Nothing was reported missing, police said.

Freightliner truck stolen

A freightliner truck cab was reported stolen on May 10 from a parking lot in the 6000 block of Oakton Street, police said. 

Graffiti

Police observed graffiti in the 4800 block of Searle on May 10.

Driving with Mary Jane

Peter Mansor, 22, of Skokie, was charged with possession of marijuana on May 12. Mansor was stopped for a traffic violation in the 9300 block of Lawler Avenue around 12:30 a.m., police said.

DUI

Alfa Kaba, 24, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on May 12. The driver was stopped in the 4400 block of Dempster Street around 3 a.m., police said.
