Help Skokie Patch Hit 1,000 'Likes'

Good morning, Skokie!

We're currently on a quest to hit 1,000 'Likes' on Faecbook. We're almost there, and to help get the extra push we need, here are five reasons to 'Like' us.

1. We're hilarious. Honestly, we post things on Skokie Patch's Facebook page that we would never post on the site. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
2. Got a tip? Or maybe you saw something that we should know about? Posting on our Facebook wall is probably the easiest way to get our attention.
3. Get updates to stories happening in the Skokie area before they go live. Sometimes, we have some details, but not enough for a story - i.e. there's a helicopter and half a dozen Chicago squad cars in Skokie. We'll update on our Facebook page and then break the story on our site once we've gathered all the details. 
4. Get traffic updates or see pictures from around town that we don't post on the site. Take this one for example, which was shared yesterday. 
5. If you are the 1,000th person to 'Like' us on Facebook, I'll do a full-fledged profile on you, pictures and everything. Or, you can have me do a profile on anyone you'd like. Go ahead, have fun with this one.
