Criminal Damage to Property

  • Criminal Damage to Property on the 8800 block of Lavergne Avenue, on November 14th at 4:08 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. An unknown person(s) shattered the driver’s side window on a Hyundai.
  • Criminal Damage to Property on the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, between November 11th at 12:00 p.m. and November 14th at 6:16 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. An unknown person(s) scratched the driver’s side door of the victim’s GMC truck.

Fraud

  • Fraud on the 4900 block of Enfield Avenue, between November 5th at 12:00 p.m. and November 14th at 4:21 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. Victim was offered a job online and was sent checks to purchase training materials.  Once the victim believed these checks had cleared he wired money to a fictitious vendor for his on-line training materials.  The victim then discovered the checks he had deposited into his account were fictitious.
  • Fraud on the 7800 block of Keystone Avenue, on November 14th at 4:00 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. An unknown person(s) opened a credit card in the victim’s name.

  • Deceptive Practices on the 7700 block of Laramie Avenue, between November 11th at 8:08 p.m.  and November 12th at 4:17 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. An unknown person(s) used the victim’s credit card number to make unauthorized purchases.
  • Deceptive Practices on the 9500 block of Lorel on November 6th at 8:10 p.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. The victim purchased a laptop computer online through Ebay and was sent a different make and model laptop that was not in working condition.

  • Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on November 11th between 2:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Reported:  11/12/2013. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet while he was at the Loews Theaters.
  • Theft on the 3300 block of Wilder Street, between November 12th between 3:00 p.m. and November 13th at 9:30 a.m.  Reported:  11/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole propane grills from the fenced in backyard.
  • Theft at 3450 Touhy Avenue, X Sport Fitness, on November 13th at 9:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a purse from the woman’s locker room
  • Theft on the 8100 block of Harding Avenue, between November 11th at 8:00 p.m. and November 13th at 7:14 p.m.  Reported:  11/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole patio chairs from the patio.
  • Theft at 5701 Oakton Street, on November 7th between 1:00 p.m. and 1:50 p.m.  Reported:  11/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole an Apple IPhone from a backpack in the men’s locker room.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

  • Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 9500 block of Lincolnwood Drive, on November 14th between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/14/2013. An unknown person(s) forced entry into a Chevy Van and removed various construction items.

  • Burglary on the 8300 block of Hamlin Avenue, on November 13th between 3:50 p.m. and 5:46 p.m.  Reported:  11/13/2013. An unknown person(s) entered through an unlocked door and ransacked the bedrooms.  Jewelry was reported missing.
