Lane Closures on Dempster Street at Niles Center Road
Lane closures for a water main repair expected to continue through at least August 15
On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, the Skokie Public Works Department will be repairing the water main on westbound Dempster Street at Niles Center Road. The westbound center lane of Dempster Street at Niles Center Road will be closed and diverted to the right curb lane during this repair. The left turn lane on westbound Dempster Street to the southbound Niles Center Road will remain open at all times. The left turn lane on eastbound Dempster Street to northbound Niles Center Road will be closed during the repair and will be reopened in the afternoon. The westbound Dempster Steet center lane will remain closed until Thursday afternoon August 15, 2019, for full street restoration, weather permitting.
