Lane Closures on Oakton Street at Lincoln Avenue
Lane and sidewalk closures begin on April 12 and conclude on April 15 due to crane operations for the 8000 North development construction.
On Monday, April 12, 2021 crane operations for 8000 North development will occur on Oakton Street between Lincoln and Floral Avenues. Westbound lanes on Oakton Street will be closed to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers. The north sidewalk on Oakton Street directly in front of the construction activity also will be closed. Weather permitting, lane and sidewalk closures are expected to be in place through Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Traffic will be shifted and limited to one lane for the westbound direction. Traffic will remain two lanes for the eastbound direction. During this time, please consider taking an alternate route if possible. For more information, please contact the Engineering Division at 847/933-8231.
