Niles North High School 2018 Football Schedule, Scoreboard

SKOKIE, IL — The Niles North High School football season is heading into its home stretch. To find the latest scores or complete schedule for the 2018 season for the NNHS varsity football team, check out the scoreboard below. The Vikings (2-6) won their second game of the season last week 20-10 over Niles West.

The season concludes at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home against Evanston Township High School, which will mark the Vikings' final football game in the Central Suburban League's South Division – at least until 2022.

Next year, Niles North will become the first team to swap divisions to CSL-North, where they will face schools with smaller enrollments in conference play.

Last season left some room for improvement. It ended with a 2-7 record, including a 0-5 record against conference opponents. Last September, the program was suspended pending the resolution of an investigation into a report of a hazing incident, which did not lead to any criminal charges. After the end of the season, former head coach Mike Garoppolo resigned to be closer to his NFL quarterback brother. He was replaced by Pat Pistorio, who coached South Elgin last year.
