Niles North Robotics Team Crowned Champion at Tournament
The Niles North Robotics Team won the championship at the Rich East VEX Robotics Competition.

On November 10, the Niles North Robotics team competed at the Rich East VEX Robotics Competition held at Rich East High School in Park Forest, IL. In this year’s game, Turning Point, students drive robots they design, build, and program. Turning Point is played by stacking caps on posts by flipping caps, stacking balls on caps, toggling flags by throwing balls, and parking robots on raised platforms.
North's 333B team had a great day, and they were crowned the tournament champion. They qualified to compete at the Illinois State Competition in February 2019 as well as the U.S. Create Competition which held in April. Team 333E were tournament finalists and 333D and 333Y finished the day as semifinalists.
