Deep Dish Pizza Theft Foiled, More in Wednesday Police Blotter

Retail Theft

Kenneth Alvardo, 32, of Skokie, was charged with retail theft after attempting to take a large deep-dish pizza from Jet’s Pizza, 41112 Dempster Street, without paying for it at 11 p.m. on May 2, police stated.

Possession of Cannabis

Benjamin Rozier, 24, of Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis after police conducted a traffic stop on the 4900 block of Hull Street at 12:50 a.m. on May 2, police stated. The driver attempted to conceal a clear plastic bag containing cannabis during the traffic stop, according to the report.

Ines Barisic, 21, of Skokie, was charged with retail theft after attempting to leave Sephora, 4999 Old Orchard Road, without paying for merchandise at 2:30 p.m. on May 3, police stated. Barisic put a cosmetic product in her purse, according to the report, and attempted to leave the store without paying for it.
