School's different, but school physicals are still a good idea

Pediatrician Shaheena Ahmed, DO, in Skokie and other Heartland Health Centers pediatricians are available for student physicals

“For the past 20 years it has been my privilege to provide comprehensive pediatric care for children of birth to 18 years of age,” says Shaheena Ahmed, DO, a pediatrician at HHC-Skokie.

“It is my goal to help your child get back to school in the safest way possible," Ahmed adds. “One way to do that is to bring your child in for their physical examination.”

This fall thanks in part to support from Illinicare Health, school physicals at Heartland Health Centers come with free back-to-school supplies for the first 600 children between the ages 5 - 11.
