Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property at 3220 Oakton Street, Skokie Park District, between October 27th at 5:00 p.m. and October 28th at 4:00 p.m.  Reported:  10/28/2013. An unknown person(s) cut down a recently planted tree on the park district property.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 7000 block of Carpenter Road, on October 28th between 2:30 p.m. and 4:38 p.m.  Reported:  10/28/2013. An unknown person(s) broke the passenger side window on a Volkswagen and removed a wallet that was left in plain view on the passenger’s side floorboard.

Theft

• Theft on the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, on October 28th at 6:18 p.m.  Reported:  10/28/2013. An unknown person(s) removed two unsecured bikes from the basement.

• Theft on the 9200 block of Lavergne Avenue, on October 28th between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  Reported:  10/29/2013. An unknown person(s) removed pills and $39.00 from a locked cabinet inside the home.

Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 9200 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, between October 28th at 10:00 p.m. and October 29th at 1:00 p.m.  Reported:  10/29/2013. An unknown person(s) used a sharp object to scratch a crown with the letter “K” on every surface of a vehicle.

• Criminal Damage to Property at 8226 Lincoln Avenue, Small World Photography, between October 22nd at 6:40 p.m. and October 29th at 6:40 p.m.  Reported:  10/29/2013. An unknown person(s) damaged the front picture window of the business.

Arrests

• Khan, Samir P., 22, 7800 block of Niles Center Road, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis on the 7900 block of Babb Avenue, on 10/28/2013.

• Khan, Hassan, 24, 7100 block of Karlov, Lincolnwood, was arrested on charges of Possession of a Stolen Converted Motor on the 7900 block of Babb Avenue, on 10/28/2013.  Hassan Khan took the vehicle from a Chicago impound lot without paying his fine.  The vehicle was reported stolen by the Chicago Police Department.

• Starks, Perrin A., 41, 1800 block of Leland, Evanston, was arrested on charges of Driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 3200 block of Main Street, Evanston on 10/29/2013.

• Soso, Julio A., 21, 1400 block of Seward Street, Evanston, was arrested on charges of Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 8100 block of Central Park Avenue, on 10/29/2013.
