Skokie Launches Zoombusiness Tool
Community-specific, interactive database helps customers find businesses and allows businesses to list hours, specials and more.
The Village today launched Skokie ZoomBusiness, an online tool that enables Skokie businesses and service providers to communicate with customers for free in real time. ZoomBusiness is an interactive, mobile-responsive mapping directory that enables customers to easily find open restaurants, stores and services. Residents can search for Skokie businesses by categories, including grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, health facilities, hardware stores, pet stores and automotive shops, among others.
Village staff continues to proactively speak with businesses throughout Skokie and has populated ZoomBusiness with over 175 establishments. In addition, businesses can list themselves for free on the Skokie ZoomBusiness site to help residents find the products and services they need. The businesses can provide customized details including websites, modified hours, delivery or curbside pickup options, promotions and gift card stimulus programs.
