Skokie Park District to close
Skokie Park District officials announced today that all Skokie Park District facilities will close tonight until further notice.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), Skokie Park District officials announced today that all Skokie Park District facilities will be closed at the end of the day today, and remain closed until further notice.
In addition, in order to protect residents and patrons, all Skokie Park District programs have been suspended until further notice, with only essential administrative and maintenance staff reporting to work.
Although no known COVID-19 exposures have touched the district, the park district is following the lead of local schools, as well as best practices laid out by the Center for Disease Control, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Village of Skokie Health Department.

Residents and customers of the Skokie Park District may visit www.skokieparks.org for any updated information regarding facility openings, program reimbursements or credit, as well as basic COVID-19 updates.
