Skokie School Plays At Northwestern's Pick Staiger Concert Hall
This week's happenings also include Santa in the Cabin, buying gift cards to benefit District 73.5, a pizza benefit for Typhoon victims, and more.
- If you're buying gift cards for the holidays, you can buy them through School District 73.5, and the district gets a small financial benefit (which you don't pay extra for; you pay the same price as you would at the store).
- If you dine at The Village Inn Pizzeria and Grill's Glenview location on Wednesday, they will donate 20% of your tab to Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts.
- McCracken Middle School in Skokie has received a high honor by having its symphonic band asked to perform at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall in Evanston for the Midwest Clinic, a gathering of 15,000 music educators. They perform at 7 p.m. Thursday.
- On Saturday, it's Santa in the Cabin and the Fifth Annual Vendor Fair starting at 11 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church,
