After 12 years in business Home Instead Senior Care of Skokie, a franchised in-home senior care business, has expanded and relocated to a new space at 8822 Niles Center Road, Lincoln Review reported.

Michael and Jackie Melinger opened the business together in 2001 in a 1,800 square-foot business office and now are moving the business into a new 3,500-square foot second-floor office space that will accommodate a new training center and provide patient care education programs for its employees, “Now we can teach caregiver classes using adaptive equipment like medical mannequins and beds where the caregivers get hands-on experience learning to do difficult things like helping a patient move from a bed to the bathroom,” Michael told the website.
