Parking restrictions in place on February 23 and 24, and motorists are asked to take an alternate route to avoid delays.
Snow Clearing of Curb Lanes on Main Street
Starting on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, the Skokie Public Works Department will be clearing snow from the curb lanes on Main Street between Laramie Avenue and McCormick Boulevard to facilitate better drainage, traffic flow and parking. This is anticipated to be a two-day operation starting at 7 a.m. each day. The eastbound curb lane will be done on Tuesday, February 23 and the westbound curb lane will be done Wednesday, February 24.
During this time, parking restrictions will be in place, and motorists are asked to please consider an alternate route if possible. For more information, please contact the Public Works Department at 847/933-8427.
