String of Car Burglaries Hit Old Orchard
The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Residential burglary
A purse, several credit cards, two watches and about $80 in cash were reported stolen from a home in the 8200 block of Lawndale Avenue on April 30. According to police, the offender(s) used brute force to gain entry.
Theft from auto

Jewelry, clothing, a duffel bag and cosmetics were reported stolen from a car parked at Old Orchard Mall on April 30. The offender(s) gained entry by smashing out the passenger side window, police said.
Wood chips used in vandalism
Wood chips were placed on the top portion of two light fixtures, which caused the light bulbs to spark and break. The incident occurred at Old Orchard Mall on April 30, police said.
