Support Dance Marathon's Fundraising Efforts for I Grow Chicago

Dance Marathon is fundraising for I Grow Chicago, an grou; that works to end violence, and poverty in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood

(Karyn Malench)

Dance Marathon is a student-run charitable organization that raises money each year (sometimes upwards of $80,000) for a different charity.

This year, DM has selected I Grow Chicago as the primary beneficiary in order to end violence, poverty, hunger, and unemployment in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.

A percentage of donations goes towards the Education Foundation--an organization that pays for everything from college trips to calculators, scholarships, and free breakfast for those in Niles Township who cannot afford those things.

DM’s annual fundraising efforts reach their peak on Saturday, May 22, when students dance together for many hours and to celebrate their impact. That evening, the total sum of the year-long fundraising efforts, will be announced.
