Surprisingly, the former business <a href="http://skokiepuppylovers.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">still has a website.</a> "Hello all, we are temporarily closed for remodeling," the website reads. "Come back and visit us soon." The property almost found a suitor in May of last year. Skokie resident Craig Hahn said he was interested in opening a coffee shop at the blue building, but changed his mind when he found out that it wasn't located in the downtown TIF district.
