Veterans Day In Skokie Marked By American Legion Observance
It will take place Monday starting at 9:30 a.m.
Veterans Day in Skokie will be observed by Skokie American Legion Post #320, according to Ed Czaja, Past State Commander, and Skokie Fire Department Chief Ralph Czerwinski.
The veterans' organization will be holding a ceremony at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3854 at 7401 Lincoln Ave, Skokie, on Nov. 11.
The post will serve coffee, donuts and refreshments at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Veterans Day service at 10:45 a.m. Call (847) 673-9781 for further details.
The Village of Skokie typically honors all veterans every year in a Memorial Day observation, Czerwinski said.
