The line wrapped around the Holiday Inn in Skokie where open casting is taking place for Transformers 4.
Many came dressed in full military attire hoping to make it as an extra in the mega-hit movie.
The open casting will take place at Holiday Inn, 5300 W. Touhy Ave., with auditions taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, RedEye Chicago reports.
Movie makers are looking for extras 18 years and over, who are clean-cut business types of could fit into FBI or military scenes, as well as Asian extras aged nine and over for a scene set in Hong Kong, ABC News reported.
Filming is scheduled for August 18 through September 27, according to various media outlets.
