As of 9:30 a.m. there were more than 500 people lined up at the open casting for Transformers 4 at Holiday Inn in Skokie.

The open casting will take place at Holiday Inn, 5300 W. Touhy Ave., with auditions taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, RedEye Chicago reports.
