- The Village of Skokie is looking to hire an alternate school crossing guard.
- Need information on affordable healthcare? We all do. Attend an information session at Bernard Horwich JCC, 3003 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
- Kids 12 and up can participate in "Babysitting Basics" at the Morton Grove Library Tuesday and Thursday evenings and get a certificate. The emphasis is on safety. Registration is required. 3:45 p.m.
- "Unique Treasures Holiday Boutique," a sale of artisan crafts, edibles, candles, handmade clothes, jewelry and decor and unique beautiful items to benefit NorthShore University Health System, takes place Wednesday at 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Oakton Community College, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Enter through Door 21.
