Will 'Chicago Fire' Return for a Second Season?
The fire drama filmed in Chicago - and recently in Skokie - is up for renewal.
There are about three dozen shows that either have been or will be canceled by NBC in the coming weeks. Among those is NBC's "Chicago Fire," which recently filmed in downtown Skokie.
Currently, "Chicago Fire" is airing and is neither cancelled or renewed yet, reports tvseriesfinale.com.

Since the show shot a scene at Haben Funeral Home in Skokie, some readers said that Stolte grew up in the village while others say he lives in Skokie.
One reader reached out to Skokie Patch saying he saw Stolte out and about in the "world's largest village."

Aaron Rapoport sent an email saying "Mouch" was at AMC theatre in Village Crossing.
There's also Skokie native and Niles North graduate Victor Vlahos, who operates Midwest Fixtures and sells restaurant-grade equipment to the show's prop manager.
"They're always blowing everything up," Vlahos told Patch.
It seems likely that the show will return for a second season as ratings for the fire drama have been relatively high, according to deadline.com.
