Woman Spits On Victoria's Secret Employee; Another Passes Counterfeit $100, Police Say

Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 8000 block of Monticello Avenue, between November 21st at 12:00 p.m. and November 26th at 12:00 p.m.  Reported:  11/27/2013. An unknown person(s) smashed 16 glass block windows on the side of the building. 

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 8500 block of St. Louis Avenue, between July 1st at 12:00 p.m. and November 26th at 12:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/27/2013. An unknown person(s) damaged two windows during the past five months.

Battery

• Battery at 4999 Old Orchard Center, Victoria’s Secret, on November 27th at 11:42 a.m.  Reported:  11/27/2013. Four female subjects started a verbal altercation with an employee of the store.  When asked to leave the store one of the subjects spit on the employee three times and then threw a pile of sweatpants at her.  The subjects then fled the scene.

Deceptive Practices

• Deceptive Practices at 4999 Old Orchard Road, Victoria Secret, on November 27th at 7:10 p.m.  Reported:  11/27/2013. A female black subject, 5 feet tall with a petite build, wearing a blue puffy jacket, attempted to use a counterfeit $100.00 dollar bill.  The subject walked away when the clerk started searching for a marker to check the validity of the bill.

Theft of Lost Property

• Theft of Lost Property at 4833 Oakton Street, Aldi’s, on November 27th between 12:00 p.m. and 12:15 p.m.  Reported:  11/28/2013. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet that she had left at Aldi’s.

Arrests

• Ross, Kevin R., 20, 8200 block of Knox, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Equipment on the 8200 block of Knox on 11/27/2013.

• Juvenile, 16, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance on the 9800 block of Crawford on 11/27/2013.

• Ocon, Isaac M., 19, 1800 block of Hovland Court, Evanston, was arrested on charges of Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor on the 5300 block of Touhy on 11/27/2013.

• Guerra, Juan, 59, 1800 block of W. Hood, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 9000 block of McCormick Boulevard, on 11/27/2013.

• Ayoob, Zafar M., 21, 8300 block of Christiana, was arrested on charges of Resisting, Obstruct or Disarm an Officer on the 3300 block of Howard Street, on 11/27/2013.
