Woman Steal Luxury Purses From Bloomingdales

Sticker stealer nabbed

Brian K. Harris, 36, of Skokie, was charged with theft on May 1. Harris was stopped in the 4800 block of Dempster Street around 6:30 a.m. for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, police learned that Harris was in possession of a stolen registration sticker, the report stated.

A woman reported her purse stolen while working out at Lifetime Fitness, 5330 Old Orchard Road, on May 1.

High end purses snatched from Bloomingdales

Two woman selected several high end purses from Bloomingdales in Old Orchard Mall on May 1. The two offenders selected several purses and then instructed the lone clerk to retrieve a purse located at the furthest point from the store exit, police said.  When the employee left to retrieve the purse, the offenders ran from the store with the other selected purses, and left in a silver Acura.  The culprits were described as two black females, 19-26 years of age, 5-foot-03 and 120 to 140-pounds, the report stated.

Possession of marijuana

Shawn Belton, 24, of Evanston, was charged with possession of cannabis on May 1. The offender was arrested in the 3600 block of Madison Street, police said.
