BB Gun Damage, ID Theft: Western Springs Cops

A resident reported BB gun damage to house, police say.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department released its latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Someone shot BB pellets at a house overnight Thursday in the 3800 block of Clausen Avenue. The pellets damaged the front door and window. The damage is estimated at $100 to $200.
  • A resident in the 5400 block of Howard Avenue reported three unauthorized transactions in the amounts of $60, $65 and $65 on his credit card. The report was made Wednesday. The case was labeled identity theft.
  • A driver's side mirror on a car was damaged April 12 in the Mariano's parking lot, 4700 Gilbert Ave.
  • Marco AH Castellanos, 29, of Joliet, was arrested about 3 p.m. Sunday at Forest and Ogden avenues on warrants from DuPage and Will counties and on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured car, speeding, only displaying one license plate and a defective window.
