The BLUES According to John Primer at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Friday, Feb. 7th at 7pm in the Museum's Indoor Auditorium Theater.

"The BLUES According to John Primer" is an up front and personal musical biography about John's blues life. Along with his harmonica player, Steve Bell he tells stories about his life growing up in 1945 in MS on sharecropper land, his family life, his migration to Chicago in 1963. Learning the blues at the famous Theresa's Lounge from all the blues legends, joining the bands of Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Magic Slim and then becoming his own band leader for his Real Deal Blues Band.

Doors at 6:15 pm, show at 7:00 pm. Full beverage bar, snacks, access to museum galleries & exhibits. Only $10.00 for Museum Members & Students or $12 for General Public. Museum located at 204 N.
