Congrats to Vito, new Honorary Pet Mayor of Western Springs

Thomas Ford Memorial Library is pleased to extend congratulations to Vito, the new Honorary Pet Mayor of Western Springs. The library thanks all the wonderful candidates and everyone who voted in the election on Facebook. Vito received a certificate from Village President Alice Gallagher, as well as the distinction of serving as the second Pet Mayor in village history.

Vito was nominated by the Buckley Family who said, "Vito the Beagle is very interested in being the Honorary Pet Mayor of Western Springs. He is always on neighborhood watch, and he goes on walks throughout the neighborhood daily to keep the squirrels and rabbits in line."
