Construction Impacts Route To Hinsdale Hospital

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Due to construction in Hinsdale, there has been some confusion on how residents should get to Hinsdale Hospital. According to the village, new signage has been placed at the bottom of the 47th Street overpass at Commonwealth which states there is no access to Hinsdale Hospital via the 47th Street bridge.

Additional sites re-route drivers back to Wolf Road, with instructions to go south to 55th Street, west to Garfield and then north to the hospital. The village said that route has blue hospital signage as well as detour signs.
