D101, LT Closed Again Thursday Due To Cold
Area schools are closed again on Thursday due to the cold.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Thursday is expected to be another day with extremely cold temperatures. Several schools have once again canceled school for Thursday, Jan. 31. On Wednesday, temperatures will remain below zero and will struggle to get above zero on Thursday as well. The NWS said the coldest wind chills will range from 40 to 55 below zero on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
In Western Springs, schools that are closed Thursday are:
- District 204 (Lyons Township High Schools)
- District 101
- Kensington School of Western Springs
