Deka Lash to Open 50th Studio in Western Springs

Deka Lash, the experts in eyelashes, will open its 50th studio location in Western Springs in February 2019.

Anchored in the Garden Market Plaza at 4700 Gilbert Ave., Deka Lash is owned and operated by local franchise entrepreneur, Jacquie Fowler, who also operates Deka Lash in Naperville. Located in 20 states across the country - with 7 locations in Illinois - the Deka Lash 50th studio opening in Western Springs marks a key milestone for the eyelash brand leader.

“I am excited to bring Deka Lash to Western Springs as the 50th studio to open nationwide,” said Fowler. “I look forward to being part of this wonderful community and helping every woman become the most beautiful and confident version of themselves.”

To celebrate, the studio will host a grand opening event on Wednesday, March 6th from 5 – 7 p.m. to tour the studio, have wine and refreshments, view eyelash demonstrations and register to win raffle prizes from local businesses.

As part of its grand opening activities, Deka Lash Western Springs will also be supporting the local community by donating 20 percent of sales and $15 for every membership sold February 11th through March 7th to the Western Springs Foundation for Educational Excellence (WSFEE). The local charity was selected for the impactful work they do to support Western Springs District 101 students and teachers.

Fowler also joined the brand with a unique and esteemed background. Her lifelong passion for health and wellness led her to become a Registered Nurse, later attaining her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School and working to transform health care in countries all over the world.

In 2013, Fowler combined her commitment to health and wellness, her entrepreneurial spirit and her love of fitness and became a franchisee for Orangetheory Fitness (OTF). She currently owns and operates two of these studios in Chicagoland, in addition to her two Deka Lash studios. Looking to add to her business portfolio, she was introduced to the Deka Lashconcept in late 2017 and immediately saw the similarity and fit with her passion.
