Dense Fog Advisory in Effect Monday Morning
Slow down, turn on your headlights and drive safe.

Weather officials are reminding motorists to turn on their headlights and slow down this morning as a dense fog will reduce visibility to less than a quarter-mile in some areas.
A dense fog advisory is in effect for Cook, DuPage, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Will, Boone and DeKalb counties through 9 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Drivers are also reminded to leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and other vehicles.

Meanwhile, temps are expected to reach the lows 80s today for much of the Chicago suburbs. The rest of the week is expected to be hot with temps in the low 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday and the upper 80s on Thursday.
