Are you a fan of Papa Hemingway? Been enjoying the recent Hemingway series on PBS? Visit the Ernest Hemingway Birthplace Museum in Oak Park. It’s one of the attractions in Explore More Illinois, a free service from your library that gives instant online access to free and discounted tickets to museums, science centers, sporting events, zoos, park districts, theatres, and other fun and cultural venues. The list is updated as sites are added; currently there are 16, including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago.
