Grand Avenue Preschool Open House – Sat, Feb 1 10am-Noon

Grand Avenue Preschool will host an open house Saturday, Feb 1 from
10 am-Noon at their current La Grange Highlands location, 1905 59th
Street, Door 23 (D106 Elementary School building). They will be taking
enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year for their new location in Burr
Ridge, in addition to their Before and After Highlands program located
at D106. The open house gives parents the opportunity to meet the
director, the teachers and learn more about the curriculum and programs
available. Renderings of the new interior space and new outdoor
playground will also be on display.

As of June 1, 2020, Grand Avenue’s Preschool program will be moving
to 6880 N. Frontage Road in Burr Ridge, near the Loyola Center for
Health. The new location will open at 6:45am and close at 6pm.

Grand Avenue offers programs for children ages two through 5th grade.
Programs include preschool offered in age specific rooms for two,
three, four and five-year-old’s with full or half day options (morning
and afternoon), an extended hot organic lunch option for three to
five-year-old’s and a Kindergarten enrichment program called “Full Steam
Ahead,” an academic program with a greater emphasis on science and
math. School-age summer camps will also be held at this location.
During the school year, Grand Avenue’s “Before and After Highlands”
program will remain inside the D106 elementary school.

Their program is aligned with the Illinois Early Learning and
Development standards, developed by the Illinois State Board of
Education. Grand Avenue is nationally accredited by the National Early
Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA).
