Village President Alice Gallagher and the Thomas Ford Memorial Library are once again excited to announce the upcoming election of the HONORARY PET MAYOR OF WESTERN SPRINGS! Porter has enjoyed his reign as First Dog of the Village of Western Springs, but is ready to hand the reins over to another worthy pet.

Between March 2nd and March 8th, you can nominate your pet by messaging us a photo. Your message should include your pet’s name and a few sentences from you or your pet about why he/she would make a great Honorary Pet Mayor. Between March 9th and March 16th, everyone is invited to view all of the nominees in a special Facebook album and vote for their favorite(s)!
