LT senior takes 4th in international cross country race
Danny Kilrea, of LaGrange Park made his Team USATF debut and finished fourth
Lyons Township High School senior Danny Kilrea, of LaGrange Park, has run dozens and dozens of cross country courses, but his most recent race was like no other. Kilrea made the U.S Track and Field junior men’s team and recently competed at the 2018 Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh XCountry International Challenge at Holyrood Park in Scotland. The international meet began with junior men taking to the damp course under cloudy skies. Illinois state champion Kilrea made his Team USATF debut and finished fourth in 19:24.
