LTHS to host annual Softball Pink Out
Saturday, May 11 at the South Campus varsity softball field
The 3rd annual Lyons Township High School Strike Out Cancer! girls’ softball Pink Out is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, at the South Campus varsity softball field. The freshman and junior varsity teams will play at 10am, and the varsity game begins at noon. Admission is free. All donations and proceeds from t-shirt sales, raffle tickets, homerun derby contest and concessions will be donated to the Karen Dove Cabral Foundation, a small foundation that helps young mothers and their families who are going through breast cancer treatment.
T-shirts for this event will be sold for $15. Raffle tickets for baskets will also be sold. Those interested in participating in or pledging toward a Homerun Derby can stay, watch and participate after the varsity game.
