Obituary: Matthew Scott King

The following obituary was submitted to Patch:

Matthew Scott King, died at the age of age 43 on April 12th. He was the loving husband of Megan (Murphy) King and father of Isabelle (9 months); and Mallory (9), Tucker (12), Cooper (14), and Griffin (17), (Mother Sarah King) dear brother of Ben King (Andrea Massarella), and uncle to Louie and Tori. He is the son of Mark and Carol King.

He was a ’93 graduate of Lyons Township HS where he competed on the Wrestling and Football Teams for 4 years. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and was Captain of the Bronco Football Team. He was currently employed by Control Analytics Inc.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday April 20th at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs, 1106 Chestnut St. Western Springs, IL 60558. A reception will be held immediately following in Plymouth Hall located in the Education building directly west of the Sanctuary.
