PetPeople Opens for Business in Western Springs

In November the Village of Western Springs welcomed PetPeople to the community.

PetPeople is now open for business in the Garden Market Shopping Center located at 47th Street and Gilbert Avenue. Store owners Trish and Michael Elkind are excited to open their second store in Illinois in addition to operating 26 stores in other states.

Trish and Mike explain the store philosophy and experience as follows, “PetPeople is the neighborhood place for natural foods and quality supplies for dogs and cats. Our team of pet enthusiasts entertains and educates to create a unique shopping experience. We engage our customers through sharing ideas and providing solutions. At PetPeople, we are inspired to make a difference in the lives of pets and their people.”

Their website describes the PetPeople experience: “We love pets and are sincerely interested in offering you the best products available for their health and well-being. We are highly selective about the products we carry and fully stand behind everything we sell. We carry the finest natural foods and treats available, as well as offer advice or answers to your questions.”
