Poetry Slam
The Thomas Ford Library, in association with the Western Springs Writers' Society, is hosting a Poetry Slam; come to perform or applaud.
Attention all poets! The Thomas Ford Library, in association with the Western Springs Writers' Society, is hosting a Poetry Slam on Saturday, September 21st at 2 PM. Anyone can attend as part of the audience, and poets of all ages and genres are welcome to read an original poem that is no longer than five minutes. First timers are encouraged to participate. There won't be any judging, and the only feedback will be applause. Time permitting, there will also be an open mic. Refreshments will be served.
