Register Now for GRAND AVENUE SUMMER CAMPS

Get your kids moving and meet new friends at Grand Avenue Summer Camps! Our highly popular themed camps are open to kids ages 3-12 and start the week of June 7. Children are divided into age specific groups and camp themes change every two weeks.

New this summer, our camps will include a “summer learning refresh.” Using our summer camp themes, K through 5th graders will mix active playtime with fun math and language arts games to refresh their skills and prepare them for fall in-person learning.

Grand Avenue camps are offered Monday through Friday from 9am until 3:30pm with lunch and snacks included. You pick the days you want and only pay for those days. Extended day care options from 6:30am until 6pm are also available. In addition, all siblings get a 20% discount on camp fees.

Grand Ave camps are located in Western Springs at the Community Center, 4211 Grand Ave and in Burr Ridge at 6880 N. Frontage Rd (near the Loyola Center for Health). All camps are led by experienced, full-time Grand Avenue staff members who are Red Cross CPR/1st Aid trained. All camps will follow all current IDPH guidelines.

Listed below are camp program descriptions by age group:

ADVENTURE camps include daily outdoor sports, weekly swimming trips and field trips to fun destinations. Adventure camps are divided into two age groups, the "ALL-STARS" for kids entering 2nd-5th grade and the "CHAMPS" for Kindergarten-1st grade. Adventure camp themes for Summer 2020 include “American Ninja Camping” and “Wild About Animals.”

“ROOKIES” camp also takes place from 9am to 3:30pm and is for children ages 3-5. Tons of outdoor play and fun-filled themes to inspire curiosity and foster friendships. Themes include “Preschool Picassos” and “Camp America.”

“Preschool Camps” for children ages 3-5 are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11:30am. Tons of outdoor play and fun-filled themes to inspire curiosity and foster friendships. Themes include “Preschool Picassos” and “Camp America.”
