Teens: Join The 'Human Library' At Thomas Ford

Join us this month to plan and host Western Springs' first Human Library, an empathy building community wide event.

Don't just build your resume, build your community! This 100% teen led volunteer opportunity is open to students in 8th-12 grade and is eager to welcome new members looking to get involved and make a difference. Join us this fall to plan and host Western Springs' first Human Library, an empathy building community wide event.
Planning meetings:

  • happen twice a month; attendance at all meetings is not required.
  • in October are Tuesday, October 2, 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 21, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • take place at the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, 800 Chestnut Street, Western Springs, IL 60558.
