Theatre Of Western Springs Presents 'ABBA Salute'

The evening is part of the TWS Performance Series which raises funds for the theatre, and all ABBA fans are invited.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Theatre of Western Springs presents a night of hit songs with ABBA Salute at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Theatre of Western Springs, 4384 Hampton Ave. The theatre said the evening is part of the TWS Performance Series which raises funds for the theatre, and all ABBA fans are invited.

According to the theatre, ABBA Salute is thought to be the most accurate ABBA tribute band in the country.

“We are excited to offer Abba Salute to our audience,” Ann Marie Hultgren, chairperson of the TWS Performance Series said in a release. “Especially because of Abba’s re-emergence in the music scene.”

Formed in Stockholm in 1972, ABBA was a Swedish pop group with Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide from 1974 to 1982.

Tickets to the event are $30; $25 for TWS subscribers.
