Jennifer B. of Chicago writes, "You can't go wrong here. The staff is always very friendly and the food is great. I'm a big fan of the California skillet, but their other offerings are good too. It's usually pretty busy but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated. This place is my go to for brunch with the family."
Solstice, 800 Hillgrove Ave., Western Springs | 4 stars
Katrina S. of Brookfield writes, "Amazing coffee. Very smooth and not bitter at all. The poutine was beyond delicious. The potatoes were so crispy, the cheese curds were gooey and awesome, and the pork sausage gravy was super flavorful and a great consistency. Everything tasted super fresh. Our water was nice and attentive. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and my Saturday brunch!"
Honey Bee Cafe, 24 47th St., Western Springs | 3.5 stars
Manuel C. of Provo, Utah, writes, "Meals are not gargantuan and just right. Lots of menu options (many senior selections) for brunch and home like atmosphere (decoration defiantly from late 80s- early 90s). Restaurant kept clean even though it shows some age. Excellent service from the staff with no wait to be seated. Chop steak and eggs ordered well done and was just right (steak not over dried). They sell local honey from different places. No American Express accepted here. A lot of older generation folks come eat here. Defiantly were the locals eat, which is not bad at all."
Corner Bakery, 39 N La Grange Road, La Grange | 3 stars
Jan M. of Minocqua, Wisconsin, writes, "Stopped in for brunch before some TJ shopping next door. I had a delicious egg sandwich, mom had tomato basil soup and sis had stuffed strawberry french toast. It was all wonderful."
