Trick Or Treat Hours For Halloween 2017 In Western Springs
There are no regulated hours for trick-or-treating in Western Springs.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Ghosts, princesses, witches and ghouls; get ready for some trick-or-treating in Western Springs. This year, Halloween is on Tuesday, Oct. 31. According to the Western Springs Police Department, there are not regulated trick-or-treating hours in town. However, the police department recommends trick-or-treating from 3 to 8 p.m.
According to the Western Springs Police Department, there are a few guidelines parents and children can use to stay safe on Halloween. A few tips include:
- Trick-or-treaters can wear light or reflective clothing and masks that do not obstruct vision.
- Trick-or-treaters should stay on the sidewalks and never walk in the street.
- Only trick or treat at homes where outside lights are on.
- Have parents check all treats before eating.
The police department reminds residents that curfew prohibits anyone under 17 to be on the street after 11 p.m. during the week.
